Grand Slam Wrestling, Moosic PA - GSW presented their milestone 50th event on Saturday December 10th with a huge night kicked off by Brute VanSlyke's open challenge. Brute came to the ring interupting the scheduled opening contest to inform the crowd that he was informed by GSW management that no one had answered his challenge and had the night off. This upset Brute because as he went on to say he is sick of being over looked by the rest of the wrestling world when there is no one anywhere who is any better in the ring than he is, so he wasn't leaving that ring until management sent someone out to face him. The challenge was finally answered by Bo Nekoda who said he's in need of a big win and feels winning the Adrenaline title is just what he needs to get back on track. Bo and Brute traded shots and strikes in and out of the ring until as Brute climbed back into the ring after tossing Bo inside, Bo took the chance to kick the rope into Brute's groin taking him down. However, Nekoda second guessed himself for resorting to the action and hessitated long enough for VanSlyke to recover, counter Nekoda's Back Stabber, and lock in the Oriental Spike forcing Nekoda to tap out and retain the Adrenaline Title.
Grand Slam Wrestling, Moosic PA - Brute VanSlyke successfully defended the GSW Adrenaline title against Rex Taylor in a hard hitting and athletic battle of the big men after hitting Greetings From Oneida NY and getting the three count fall.
Grand Slam Wrestling, Moosic PA - GSW returned to the Moosic Youth center with Zombie Lucha Dos that was headlined by Brute VanSlyke VS Sean Silence for the Adrenaline Title. The matchup started with a bang when during the match before the majority of the roster out at ring side brawling and Sean Silence left alone in the ring. Brute's music began playing and the Adrenaline Champion began fighting his way through the brawl taking out anyone in his way until he got into the ring to begin his match with Silence. Brute was able to our wrestling and our brawl Silence in the beginning but repeated interference from Silence's manager Chio allowed Silence to gain the upper hand. Brute finally was able to mount a come back and as Silence got out of Brute's Asiatic Spike with a low blow, Brute was able to catch Silence in mid spear with a big boot, a standing enziguri, and finally hitting Silence with Greetings From Oneida NY and picking up the win and retaining his Adrenaline title.
Grand Slam Wrestling, Moosic PA - Even after losing his spot in the Blackjack Brawl Brute VanSlyke was not done that night. The current Adrenaline champion Mark hartt was set to defend the title against Andy Lee Ray but announced a serious injury that would take him out of wrestling for a year. This led Phil Stamper to hand the title over to fellow Purge member Sean Silence who defended the title against Lee Ray. During intermission Brute VanSlyke came out to the ring saying the level of disrespect given the Adrenaline title really pissed him off especially with the first match to crown a champion was himself vs Kevin Graham. Brute demanded Silence to come out to defend the title against him so he could defeat Silence and reclaim the title's glory once again. Silence and Chio refused the match until Brute added if he could not beat Silence in under 1 minute he would leave GSW for 90 days which Chio accepted. Silence tried gaining the advantage before the bell by attacking Brute with the title belt but when Silence went for a spear Brute moved out of the way and hit Silence with a Big FN Lariat and became the new Adrenaline champion with 15 seconds to spare.
Grand Slam Wrestling, Moosic PA - GSW presented their annual Blackjack Brawl event featuring a 21 man Blackjack Brawl battle royal with the winner receiving a GSW Heavyweight Title match up. Before the event GSW President Phil Stamper announced that he would force Mike Vaughn and Brute VanSlyke to face each other one on one with the winner gaining the final open spot in the Blackjack Brawl later in the night. VanSlyke dominated the majority of the matchup but Vaughn was able to mount a comeback. After connecting with a tornado DDT onto Brute, GSW Champion Kevin Graham ran out to the ring distracting Vaughn. VanSlyke tried to take advantage of the dispute but when he went to attack Vaughn, Vaughn moved causing Brute and Graham to collide and giving Vaughn the chance to hit VanSlyke with a running knee and get the win.
Grand Slam Wrestling, Moosic PA - Brute VanSlyke finally received his GSW title match at GSW's Big Trouble In Little Moosic 2 event as a part of a 5 Way Scramble match. The match would have a 20 minute time limit with the last man to have scored the pinfall to become champion would walk out with the title. In the match up Brute was able to hit a Big FN Lariat on Mike Vaughn to become the first ever 2X GSW champion. However, in the last minutes of the match Kevin Graham was able to force VanSlyke out of the ring long enough to pin Sean Silence becoming champion once more and remain champion as the time expired.
Grand Slam Wrestling, Moosic PA - GSW returned to the extremely hot Moosic Youth Center with the much anticipated one on one matchup between Brute VanSlyke and Alexander James. The two men traded everything from holds to strikes and either man could have came out the winner but it was Brute VanSlyke who was able to hit James with the Big FN Lariat and pick up the pinfall victory.
It wasn't a surprise that not many were stepping up to take on Brute VanSlyke at our next event. However, there is one man who has said he is up to the task and ready to fight. Alexander James has agreed to the match july 9th in Moosic, Pa!
Grand Slam Wrestling, Moosic PA - Brute VanSlyke returned to GSW to continue his climb back up the rankings to once again receive a GSW Title shot one day. Brute waited in the ring for his opponent but was upset when an unknown competitor came through the curtain. Brute make very quick work of his opponent picking up the win in under a minute with a Big FN Lariat. Not satisfied with his opponent. Brute grabbed the mic demanding management to find someone else in the back to send out for a better challenge. Kevin Burdick was sent to the ring only lasting slightly longer than the previous opponent. Brute picked up another win in about a minute after 2 Big FN Lariats, just for emphases. Brute still was not happy with his match up and demanded yet another challenge, this time it was answered by Studly Steve McKenzie. This match up lasted a bit longer with McKenzie putting up more of a fight than the previous competitors. VanSlyke was able to pick up his third win of the night after a left armed lariat and locking in the Asiatic Spike forcing McKenzie to tap out.
