Keystone Pro Wrestling, Lancaster PA - Brute VanSlyke made his KPW debut on Saturday May 29th at the company's Broken Promises event. VanSlyke took on Kekoa who also was making his company debut. Kekoa attempted to out quicken and hit an variety of aerial maneuvers but VanSlyke was able to ground the Samoan and give his opponent a beat down. Kekoa regained momentum though and finally took VanSlyke off of his feet, but after missing a huge top rope splash after Brute moved out of the way, Kekoa found himself locked in the Asiatic Spike. VanSlyke won the match up after Kekoa passed out but after refusing to let go of the hold the ref reversed the decision awarding Kekoa the win by DQ.

New England Championship Wrestling, Ambington MA - NECW presented a special fund raising event that was to feature Brute and Jack Maverick team with their manager James Maddox against the Giant Pharaoh and Alex North and Genesis but with North and Genesis unable to make the event the team of the Kool Kids teamed with the Giant Pharaoh instead. Brute and Maverick were able to dominate the match up and almost had the contest won but when their manage Maddox tagged his way into the ring he quickly messed up his offense allowing the Giant Pharaoh to begin cleaning house. Just as he had Maverick and Brute in his grasp for a double chokeslam, maddox attacked him with the cowbell giving Pharaoh and the Kool Kids the DQ win.
Pennsylvania Premiere Wrestling, Hazleton PA - PPW presented a big time and rather unique 8 man tag match pitting Brute VanSlyke's team of the Brute Squad and Mark Hartt against Bull Hightower, Travis Dorian, and Danger Jamison which was headed by WWE hall Of Famer Nikolai Volkoff. Brute's team was able to maintain control of the match up for the majority of the match but eventually Bull and Travis were able to dispose of the Brute Squad and Hartt long enough for VanSlyke to receive a 3 on 1 assault that ended with Volkoff hitting a flipping senton on VanSlyke for the 3 count and the win.
Vicious Outcast Wrestling, Connellsville PA - VOW returned to the Cinema in Connellsville, PA with Friday the 13th that featured Brute VanSlyke taking on MV Young. MV Young tried to out quicken VanSlyke but eventually VanSlyke was able to slow Young down after a series of suplexes and power attacks. Brute VanSlyke not surprisingly was able to out strike the smaller Young at the end of the match and connect with a Big FN Lariat to pick up the win.
New England Championship Wrestling, Wakefield MA - NECW returned to the Americal Civic Center with a packed house with night 1 of their Double Intensity events which featured NECW Tag Team Champions Brute VanSlyke and Jack Maverick, The Regulators, defending against Genesis and Alex North. The match up ended in a DQ after Maverick took advantage of North's distraction to attack him with his cowbell causing the ref to end the match up. But due to the DQ Brute and Maverick remained NECW Tag Team Champions.
